Buy a Killer

I believe that the world of Information and Technology is free
Free mean no boundary...(unbounded by windows and gates)
Anyway, I am writing here my past experience about the virus in windows
I am leaving windows to Ubuntu (yeah!)
To counter viruses, I had used Avast!, Killbox.exe and show superhidden file

Avast may not be a very good antivirus, but at least it give some protection

Killbox.exe is a important program i use to kill virus. After Avast! dectected the virus in process, it may not be removed so easily. So is important to search the process or file in www.threatexpert.com so that you can remove the file easily after knowing their name even if it is hidden or superhidden

Tips for unseen hidden file:
To activate superhidden file
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced] “SuperHidden” = 1
(You will need to reboot after changing this setting for it to work. You can see malware easily with this.)

Force hidden file to show up
.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\Folder\Hidden\SHOWALL (checked value set to 1).

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\Folder\SuperHidden (checked value set to 1)

The apperance of malware can be notice easily:
Cannot show hidden files or something is missing due to a unidentify process that is running
Download killbox.exe at here

A dangerous weapon

Ubuntu Rising

After using Windows XP for years, I not going to pay again for Vista
Plus Vista require a better PC. I have decided to try Ubuntu

Wine is a nice application for people who thinking for a change... Wine HQ

Why I use Ubuntu?
I am not using a authentic windows (la... want to be good boy ooo)
Because XP will be forgotten soon. Window 7 will soon take over vista place
To know how good is Ubuntu

When I suggest about Ubuntu,
Jay says: No more game for you (also mean no soulstorm for me)
Teik Ming says: I want the GUI only (huh?)
Geok Poh says: Mr. Ubuntu (I havent start exploring Ubuntu le)
Anbin says: I am using Ubuntu too (Inti Internet too slow la...)
Alvin Ting says: Try to use Linux freeware (hmm not a bad idea...)
Pooi Keat: *should be- What is Ubuntu?? no use wan la...

And a nerd says: Ubuntu where got good, need to type one le...
Not all true but also half true. But also is good for your brains.
This guy thought windows no need type at all (how about CMD?)

At 25 of November, I am still thinking about it over and over again
however at 26 October I downloaded a iso copy of Ubuntu...
and the 27 November I installed Ubuntu and forget about Windows
After 48 hours walking through a maze blindfolded...

Finally, I done with Ubuntu, mine own flavor...
after much tweaking learned from the Internet

Some Dumbest moment in Ubuntu:
1st attempt: Done 2 partition for Ubuntu, when I don't have anything for the 2nd partition
2nd attempt: Messed up with the Firefox plugin... (dunno how to remove)
3rd attempt: Forgot to control my swap file space, 1.6 GB wasted!
***
Besides that, I try to be clever and deleted gnome-panel... Darn!
Luckily I succeed in making all things back in the box

*My Ubuntu with Aurora Borealis background... Cool... blue for everything

The software I used:
installed DTA for flashget (reminds me about the nerd who brag about the buggy thunder)
Media Player Classic to Mplayer
Installed wine
Upgrade to open office 3
Unrar and 7zip
installed emesene for msn
AVG for fun

I will be blogging more about Ubuntu soon... (and a lot of interesting stuff)
I am currently using Ubuntu 8.10 Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex.
